AI Platform for Healthcare: Next Notes

What is the problem?

Healthcare providers don't have enough time nowadays to take care of patients; they are now secretaries. Data showed that they spent on average 4h/day on administrative tasks (Taking notes, EHR, Coding, and insurance), which represents approximately $45k/year/MD lost in misused hours and fewer patients being treated. On top of that, over $2B was lost in medical errors (coding/insurance) last year.
Well, imagine a world where #doctors#nurses, and #clinicians spend less time writing medical notes and dealing with EHR. A world where they can focus on what truly matters - taking care of their patients.

How do we try to solve this?

We are trying to optimize healthcare provider efforts by reducing the amount of time they spend taking notes and using the EHR while improving the quality of the service delivered to the patient. We achieve that by using a proprietary wearable device to capture, transcribe, analyze, create, manage, and organize medical records in different formats (SOAP, H&P), whether it's an online or in-person consultation.

How does it work?

It's a small AI-powered wearable device capable of capturing the conversation between the patient and the doctor, recording, transcribing, and summarizing it, which can assist during and after every medical session. We are HIPAA, GDPR, SOC2 Type 1 compliant, but not yet SOC Type 2 and ISO 27001 certified.
